We believe that genres are no longer the relevant way to look at the arts. In fact, they never were. We don’t need categories, or boxes, or labels to tell us who we are. We simply… are. Your partner in creativity.
Our founder Liam is a Sydney-born writer, designer and publisher who helps authors and organisations bring their stories to life.
After 5 years as a professional graphic designer, Liam founded Genreless Books as a platform to support other independent creatives; to help them share their stories with that elusive thing called confidence, and gentle encouragement at every step.
Why We're HereA little history
2017
Capitalising on sixteen years of worldly wisdom, Liam writes and self‑publishes his first book, Open-Minded, a collection of humorous essays about the human condition.
2019
Whilst studying visual design at college, Liam writes and self‑publishes his second book, Alive, a post-apocalyptic novella about a creative who hides their spirit from the world.
2020
Liam completes his formal training, and begins his career as a graphic designer.
2025
Liam’s friend Philippe asks for support to design and print an anthology for the Central Coast Creative Writers Group. In the process, Liam founds Genreless Books as a platform to design, publish and sell books.
